Keybinds are your friend. Using the f keys to build is such a pain in the ass.

I personally have stairs to mouse 4, walls to mouse 5, and floors to F.
I normally don't fuck with traps or anything in f5 so I don't really care about it.

just play alot of games
always think there's no respawn so don't rush if you not sure

start practicing your build. notice how much damage ur weapons do and change ur style based on that. also use number keys to switch weapons instead of scrolling etc.
