When you spawn in the server, If you press f4, will bring you up the menu where you can set your job,but stuff,etc... And you can also press y for talk in ooc, anonymously,IG or advertising. Type !motd to see the rules of the server. And the last thing,if you have any trouble with something in a darkrp server, you can simply type @incident, /calladmin,etc... that depends of the server and how its configured.

RDM = Random Death Match. Basically Killing someone without a valid reason i.e: mugging, raid, counter

RDA = RanDom Arrest. Everyone prefers to say RDA to RA, just makes more sense but like above it's when you're arrested without a reason.

NLR = New Life Rule. Not all servers enforce this but the basic premise is that when you die you forget everything for 10 minutes. You can not go back to your base if you were being raided, you cannot revenge kill someone. You simply do not remember for 10 minutes. (To be perfectly honest though most people don't really follow this to the T)

Also remember to not tolerate server rules that seem obviously made without thought and move on if needed. A lot of people seem to forget that and get a miserable result with the gamemode oftentimes.
