1$ here might get you a smoke from the angry homeless dude at the bus stop

a hand full of chewing gum from a gumball machine and maybe a condom wrapper

For a dollar, you can buy a pack of nuts. Or any can of soda.

I think i could only get a pack of chips and a soda, maybe also a gum ( yes only one not a pack)

I live in the US so $1 can't buy much of anything.

Here in the US, at least in my state, can't get too much. Maybe a soda, small candy, or something. Though there is a $1 store so anything in there is $1 so not too bad of a deal

It's worth $1 how much is it worth comparable top other currancy's is the real question.

Well this is an interesting question, in Indonesia , especially in java province, you can buy 2 litres of gasoline, 6 instant noodle

in poland you can buy a sommersby beer (Boi is it good)

You can get a water bottle in here. A small one. Or a sandwich. Or a small pizza. Lots of stuff.
