I heard isps sends letters to people about torrented games I didn't received a warning maybe I gotten one in the past where my grand mother claims and I quote "I got a letter from US gov saying you was speaking to people in Pakistan " I last torrented games from a Russian site I may had stumbled upon pirate bay in the past still no warning redirects for my actions when my isp asked me for email I told them I don't have one anyways every game I torrented from a good source no virus it comes in a package and ready to be installed and launched I torrent games just to try it out first then I make up my mind to buy them later because I want to test to see if the game will lag on my pc .

saying you download games illegally to test them is dumb. you can tell by your setup if it will work or not. yes its illegal.

Run a vpn that does not log. But im am assuming you wont pay for a good vpn and end up using a free one which will gladly give up your logs anyway so it doesnt matter.

I hadn't been caught yet ISP didn't even bother here where it gets interesting the site I get my torrents from already has the game loaded so I don't need to do anything else just extract and install then after trying it out I transfer saved data from the torrent-ed version to legit paid version I already have a legit VPN service that keeps me off the radar after downloads all seeding is basically removed . One VPN where I don't have to sign up multiple areas to pick from I can choose no limits to how much session time no fake ips no creating new account for vpn service no VPN company records what I doing no free trial vpns that last for a week . All that fall under to the host of the session I partake in

All isp sees is me browsing sites they giving me complete privacy they didn't send me mail saying I'm torrent-ing games my VPN totally takes being anon to a whole new level they do keep track of sites I visit but what I download is a different story I torrented GTA SA twice and got no warning letters I torrented GTA V same thing no warnings then I actually brought the legit game copy to transfer data cover my graphics driver sometimes lag when handling a game thats nearly 100 gigs its basically a stress test

Yes be very careful. They can tell the types of packets you are downloading so it is highyl recommended to use a vpn.
