I know its stupid and basic butttt

Today I learned about adding custom profile fields (YEH I KNOW basic shit) but I honestly never did anything like that before.
And editing the variables in the template haha. Like seriously I was a bit stumped for a bit... but as soon as the penny dropped it was great to learn. And super easy to do.

Its really effective and add a whole new level of users personalizing their post bits / profiles. So I am happy.. haha ok you can all laugh at me for being happy about something so simplistic. I know X__X

I felt like this when I first started to learn the basic things of MyBB. Made me happy. It's fun learning new things!

It really fills the hole in my heart when I learn new stuff. Web design/development keeps evolving and learning it is really fun experience imo.
Anyways how are you learning it, I mean do you some video tuts or w3school?
