I am a current photographer trying to move into videography and man... I definitely love video more because of the creative aspect that comes with it. Since I started shifting, I had to learn about different editing styles, plugins, luts, communities, etc. Before joining editing communities, I felt like I unlocked a new ability, I can reach out to anyone with a similar style, I can find cracked software, and the biggest takeaway I learned is I don't have to gatekeep. If you're reading this and you're iffy about starting to edit... just go for it. Definity is worth it and is a very good skill.
