Any tips for a dumb guy like me? I really want to pursue my dream to develop a video game but it is really difficult to study a variety of areas such as graphics design, audio design, and specially programming.

I think the best method would be to just really try and learn it although you cant , like just do it

I really have no idea about gaming besides Q3/RA3 and CS, like 10+ years ago.

But I would guess there are several differnet roles taking part in the production of a game? Not one person does all.

Are you good at coming up with stories and narratives? Can you build out an idea in such detail in text that i can be sold to a gaming company already working with all that you say you have problems to learn?

Maybe evalute how old you are, how much time you have put into learning, how difficult a topic really is.... that way you might find out if you are not suitable or its' just lazyness, to little time put in the game, whatever... most poeple can lear anything if they dedicate themselves too it and get the support they need.

On the one hand, some say that programming has nothing to do with mathematics, and on the other hand it has everything to do.

I say that without a reasoned rationale it is a little difficult but not impossible.

If you have a concrete basis for mathematics, you are already a great mirror! Just move on to learn programming.

Start with python or even php to have a structure.
