Same here, i used to play with tons of my friends but now I just dont even look at the minecraft website anymore ;[

Yeah the old MC was awesome, you could play on old versions if you miss it

I think it's just your nostalgia speaking. I always think that to myself, and I go back and play it to realize newer minecraft is just more fun.

I played the game from 1.3.2 and then overtime it just got dull after each update made it a little more and more fancy and now there are shields and you can't block with sword.

I'm all yours.
