I highly recommend JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! I've been reading the manga, and it is a fantastically bizarre shonen. Don't start with Part 1, though (parts are standalone). Part 5 or Part 3 make good starting points.

Alternatively, if you're into horror, they're making an anime of Uzumaki by Junji Itou. It's not out yet, but I'm really looking forward to it! Junji Itou is somewhat Lovecraftian and $#!t-yourself scary - he was one of the people working with Kojima on Silent Hills back in the day.

So here goes-

ERASED. (Genre- mystery)

The protagonist- Satoru is an aspiring manga writer. But he also has a secret- that is, he has a power(or whatever you call it) to move back into the past and this power is triggered in order to let him have a go at fixing stuff that had gone wrong: for example, an accident or such mishaps.

But dont mistake this anime for featuring another one of those super humans. Satoru isnt powerful, and he really has no control over his power. Plus he also had a kinda trashy childhood(off context).

Anyways, this anime revolves around another one of those triggers that takes Satoru back to the past, back further than hed ever previously gone- into his school days. Now what is the thing that needs fixing and hows he going to manage it?

This is what the anime is about.

SWEETNESS AND LIGHTNING( Genre- Slice of life)

Okay, so this anime is like a warm fuzzy blanketSmile

Its about a single father struggling to raise his little daughter Tsumugi who still cant really wrap her head around her mothers death. His father learns how to cook, how to care for his daughter and balance work and in each episode we see something new being cooked and their bond deepening. The anime has lots of stuff being cooked- so maybe itll be an added plus to the viewers!

What can I say- its a beautiful anime. The characters are all really nice, relatable .

DEMON SLAYER( Genre- Action, supernatural)

Its about a world where demons live alongside humans and kill them for food.

But humans have also formed resistance in the form of an organisation tasked with slaying demons- the demon slayer organisation.

The story follows the adventures of a normal boy- Tanjiro who joins the Demon Slayer group after his family was killed by demons while he was away, and only his sister lived- but she too had become a half demon.

Partly out of a desire to get his revenge and partly wanting to get his sister-his only family become human again, he joins the group of Demon slayers.

Its a recent anime- so animation quality is really on a different level. The story starts out slow, but youll soon find yourself getting hooked to it by the time you reach episode 10 or 11.
