I play Java edition can I play with my Bedrock Edition friends on it?

So I am playing in the Java edition lonely so I asked my friends if they had minecraft and they answered thatthey have got minecraft in bedrock edition so I ask you if there's a way to play with them? I wait your answer.

No way (yet). Bedrock is cross-platform though, if that's of your concern

Absolutely no compatibility, but it would be nice if they achieve that big step for these platforms.

Sadly no you cant play cross platform between java and bedrock

There is absolutely no way, because they are not interoperable

not yet, you could buy minecraft bedrock though.

There isn't a way to play between those two versions. They're a different game. You have to get them to buy or download (for free) theMinecraft Java Edition. It's like you want to play GTA 5 but you have GTA 4. They're a different game.

sadly you can't play with people from bedrock edition. bedrock edition is cross play through platforms: ps4/xbox/pc
