IOS 11 Fucks everything up for older iphones like WTF it just kills my battery even when i dont have my apple watch connected to it i fucking hate apple rn even though they do it every time with a new iphone just because they want you to fucking buy a new one

Ios 11 no longer supports gpp chipsets. sadla. had to downgrade my firmware to lower version.

People suggest that Apple does this on purpose to force people with older hardware to eventually have to upgrade. My opinion is that software lifetime should be considered first and I think that the newer phones will start to hit limits and the upgrades will only be for physical properties/features

That's what they said back in the day for iPhone 5 when trying to get people on 6. Upgrade killed battery. They said "oh it's fixed", but it was fixed for like, 5% of users. I loved my iPhone 5 a few years back, but the moment I updated it, I could barely get through the workday without it dying.
