Android no doubt.
Even tho it's owned by Google which means that privacy will always be a issue, it's still much more customizable, and to me is much easier to use.

I used to be an apple fan, but recently the prices are just ridiculous.

I bought a pixel XL 2 years ago and got a pixel 3 lasst year... Am so pleased with them and doubt I'll be going back to apple

I've always had iPhones and never really wanted to change to android, but it wasn't as painful as I originally thought!

I have been on both sides. At first I had a lot of androids. That was, when android has starting era. At this moment they were very laggy. So I decided to jump on Iphone.
Experience was good. No lags, crashes or anything like that, but they are very limited in functions. So after 2 years of using, I give a second try to Android. And at these moment I am very happy with my Huawei p20PRO

There's a lot of mixed emotions with devices having their own operating system like iOS, BlackBerry, colorOS, etc: with Android operating system.

They have their own unique pros and cons. They have their own aim in terms of consumer use. Like for instance, iOS. iPhones for socializing, their computers for editing and designing purpose. Android has wider range and use unlike those who have their own operating system for their devices. You can connect nearly anything and everything with integration and as long as they're compatible. I could go on and on about this but I'm still learning about these sort of stuff too.

iOS is a very good ecosystem if you don't mind paying extra, most of the products work out of the box, and are simple in usage. Android is focused on being good in everything, and leave you with a lot of freedom that could frick you over.

In conclusion, I prefer Android, but can see why some do prefer iOS.
