Yes, its dying. Slowly, but dying. People waking it up with time, making cool addons, but the online drops, normal DarkRP is now gone, coolest gamemode for me, Base Wars, also gone, poof. People starting to kill it.

You gotta think about it, games will die in due time. For example I work on Arma 3 Servers, if you pull the stats up theres no more than 19k players through OUT the playerbase.
Garry's mod is the same way. People get burnt out on the same old grind.

It's playerbase has declined noticeably yes, but It's not going to die anytime soon.

Garry's mod is dying but it'll be long before it dies and yes this is so sad ! but maybe with the alyx sdk we'll get an garry's mod 2 plus vr mod

Yes, I play Garry's Mod, and I've been playing it for a few years now. My favorite gamemode is Sandbox since it allows me to be free

When gmod first came out, it was not a game, it was a game creator, they made games in the next process.
