Unreal Gold and Unreal Tournament (bot mode) were when I really picked it up. Before that, Apple ii and Commodore 64 games. Arkon... archon? Chess game that goes to a 1v1 when a piece tries to take another. Ice Palace, Burger Time. Too much of a pixel snob to play any of the old stuff now, though.

i started on a budget alienware when i was a teenager, wasnt a good move.
eventually, i decided to save up big boy monies and build a custom for editing and gaming.
definitely worth $1,500. Smile

Back in 1994, i played DOS games they could fit on 1x 1.44 MB floppy disk and even less. God my first PC was 33 mhz, (yes), had 512 KB of RAM and had around 512 MB Hard Drive. Or was it 2x 256 MB. A joke. I got an upgrade about year after it had 133 MHz, 2 MB of RAM, and around 1,7 GB Hard Drive. LoL. Good old times. I played what ever was playable backthen. Budokan, Bball, CD-MAN (some pacman ripoff).

Don't remember the exact year but the first game I played was some cruddy game called "Jumpstart." I'm still not sure if it was even multiplayer or just had bots walking around. Spent maybe 2 years of elementary school on that game.

Many moons ago I started playing flash games on Ebaumsworld. But as of actual PC games my roots start from Chicken Invaders, Moorhuhn and Age Of Empires 1. Those were the days
My name is Angel
Yes I am a Vampire
Yes I am an Assassin
No I am not for hire
There is only one creed
Templars go away!

Minecraft when I was like 13 lol.
However, I've been playing actual games (don't get me wrong, I love Minecraft but I regularly get bored of it) at decent framerates with a gaming PC I assembled two months ago. Amazing how much 1000$ invested in good hardware can give you in terms of performance.
