He has a subject, (relevant to the last week, this week he was talking about Trump) then he talks about it with footage etc. and incredibly well written jokes. Also featuring many, many random celebrities just all of a sudden popping in.

The goal is not to be logical, nor even correct. The goal is to be entertaining, which it delivers.

It's pretty funny, I actually quite like The Late Late Show with James Corden too

It takes a lot to make me lol, but I lol constantly when watching this.
