Im getting no pleasure from gaming

I would try a new skill or hobby but if you want some thing to get the same gaming itch. I would trade one of the new games to teach you to code

I think it just happens with age. I just turned 25 and have been feeling that way for a while now. I don't know man, I wish I could enjoy games as much as I used to, but I simply can't. 8 hours of work every day plus lack of motivation and that's it.

new generation games bore me too, but when I go back to old, I play for hours

i keep going back to black ops but its loosing its fun factor :(

Maybe try to explore something new? Try some new games out there, a new genre for you. maybe you can get that pleasure from that

I understand what you mean, I just chock it up to growing up. I have more responsibilities in life now and things that once made me happy fail to do so now.

I came to this point a few years back, towards the end of the 360 generation. I played so many big open world games and deep stories in that gen like fallout 3/bb, elder scrolls 4 and 5, gta 4, mass effect 1/2/3 and the assassins creed games and PS3 games like last of us and uncharted. While I loved all of those,It just started to wear on me to the point where I couldnt get into Xbox one or ps4 at all really, fortunately focusing on Nintendo games brought back my passion for games. The switch and breath of the wild and odyssey really did that trick for me and now retro gaming substantially more. The games are just focused more on simple fun and it just reinvigorated gaming for me.

Same but playing with friends always brings that joy back. if anyone is bored try that or meeting new people to game with. being solo can be boring
