Do you play aggressivly or deffensive? Do you play with a premade or are you playing alone? I was supp main 1 season ago and i kinda reallised: You cannot play solo supp with out an premade adc (My opinion). Now i am playing Yorick top lane wich is absolutly NUTS. But you could tryout an another item build to help your adc come trough the laning phase. For example if you have an Caitlyn ADC try to build Zeke's. This item is good for Catilyn's headshots. If you use your ultimate you and your ally get the Zeke's effect. After that, caitlyns first basic attack deals more dmg and she haves the zeke's effect. And Redemption is a good item too! Or maybe play Supps like Thresh or "Brand".

I'm main support also. I think the best tips I can give you is don't play aggressively and just follow your ADC. Also if you want to rank up your division you should find a duo that can carry any ADC.

Duo your way to the top, half the ADCs you get will be braindead.

get a gaming mouse it helps tremendously. logitech or stay stuck in gold

Find someone to duo with! This is important. Feeling well and trusting each other in lane is half the rent

Always remember you and your adc are a pair, its your job to keep them safe and possibly try to get them fed. Its fine to make plays but always consider summoners first and enemy mid and jg location. Try to coordinate warding with adc. usually adc can ward lane bushes and you can take care of river. Help your adc cs under tower.

Mid game, keep control of bot side, a lot of pink wards. Always keep eyes between you and mid. Most roams and ganks start during this part of the game. Warding is always important but do not face check when theres a bunch mia. Look for calculated plays. with leona you can easily set up face check traps. Ping for your teams help with the bush traps. Try to keep a ward near baron or on it at all times. A thing i dont see much people doing is coordinating ward scanners with their teammates. usually the jg or mid will have red trinket. and the amount of map you can deward with two scanners is huge. try not to use ur scanner the same play your teammate just did. i usually start scanning around the river entrances and go into the river bushes after.

Supports are great shot callers because they dont have to focus heavily on micro. Ive carried many games just spam pinging my team to go in while i lead. Leona or nami is great for that because of their cc. Lulu is a passive support but her polymorph is huge against a tryn, yi, riven, or anyone that jumps on your team and doesnt heavy consistant damage. If against yassuo make sure you wait for his wind wall because polymorph can be blocked by it.

Try to make calls, good calls. If you make a bad call and your team flames , mute. You are a good shot caller and the more you practice and believe in it the better youll get. If you let someones flame tilt you, you lost vital moments and information. Keep FOCUSED and you can certainly climb. Just think of how the pros actually play. They are 100% focused on the game, and every moment of it.

Get a good ADC and train with him, and start rankend with him ;D
