I think you guys didn't understood that correctly, so let me explain this a bit further.

Whenever you login from another location, you'll have to verify yourself by using the code which was sent to your e-mail.
If you are already logged in on your phone for example, you don't have to verify yourself again.


Because they totally invented this system. Let's just forget all other platforms like Blockchain who have been using this since years.

Will this be via IP or via MAC Address? Say I log into my phone, then log out, if I were to log back in from the same phone, but through a VPN, would I not need verification?

This is IP based. If you'd log out, enable a VPN and log back in you'd have to verify yourself again because you basically switch IP/Country/ISP whatever.

So this is like Steam right? Like when you access from a new pc you must enter the code from email or stuff?
