I have 20 FPS in gmod -_- Do you have any ideas what can i do with this ???

Lowering quality of games is probably your best bet. Some servers offer FPS boost but not much.

Putting the graphics to very low or better yet getting a better pc.

After the new update, it became possible to increase your FPS due to improved multi-core render or something. It works in a test mode, and to turn it on, enter the following command in the console!

Here is the command
Gmod_mcore_test 1; mat_queue_mode -1; cl_threaded_bone_setup 1

To perform the method, turn the console on the main menu (Shift + ~)
If it does not turn on, turn it on first in the game settings.
Insert that command, and press Enter.

Now, when you play on servers or in a singleplayer, your FPS became really better , and you can play comfortably (or super comfortable)!
You need to run this command every launch of Gmod.
Rate this guide and share it with the friends! Wink

You can add it to the autoexec.cfg , if u don't want to enter this command every single launch
PATH: Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\cfg
Add it to the autoexec.cfg and save this file then.

1. Click this link and download the "fpsboost.cfg".
()
2. Open your "common/garrysmod/garrysmod/cfg" folder and place the "fpsboost.cfg" in the folder.
3. Start garrys mod and at the start screen (Note: Not while in a server or you will crash) open your console and type the command "exec fpsboost" then hit enter.
4. It will load your screen may go black for a second or two, once done close your console join a server and enjoy the fps boost.

Note: You need to do this everytime you start gmod.
Note 2: This will hurt your graphics but not much and to be honest I almost like the look better, things will seem a little bit more pixalated and players will have no eye balls but hey you cant complain if you are getting 30 or less frames and desprately need to increase your frames.

well 1.buy a better pc , if not - lower the graphics and there is ways like fps boost

Get a better graphics card , depending if your cpu and motherboard can handle a better one if not upgrade your cpu which might need another motherboard to fit , but if you upgrade all of that your cpu will boost masively

If buying a new PC isn't an option you can try lowering the ingame settings and using the multithreaded options recommended above.
If you're willing to spend some money I'd recommend upgrading your CPU first if its not good, make sure to look at more than just core count and gigahertz, look at benchmarks on websites like userbenchmark.
If your CPU is good I'd say to get a better GPU and make sure to look at benchmarks for that too.

To decrease loading times you could buy a SSD. They're becoming cheaper and you can get 240 gb for less than $100 but it won't really help with FPS

Trun down your settings or get a new pc Smile idk how people can lagg on garry's mod but the engine is poor made
