Installing Addons for your Garrys Mod Server

Installing the Addons

First off, you will need to go and download GmodExtractor.
You can download it by searching Gmod Extractor, it will be the first one.

Now once that is completed, open it.

Wait for it to load, the more addons you have downloaded the longer it will take. It took mine about 5 minutes to load when I have over 200 addons downloaded on my Garrys Mod.

Once up, you will see all addons you have downloaded. Find an addon that you would like to install to your server, then extract it to your desktop. Be sure to make a folder for it to extract the addon to.

Once extracted, you will place that folder into your server files under "addons".

Restart the server, go in, it's there!


Note that PlayerModels are NOT placed under addons.
**SOME ADDONS WILL ALLOW AUTOMATIC DOWNLOAD IF YOU HAVE FastDL
