I used to always go for Intel, they were obviously the best choice considering AMD had temperature issues and even then it was not as good as Intel. But now AMD has caught up, and honestly they are doing as good if not better that Intel at this time, either Intel needs to pick up their pace, or they will die of as the once to be king. But I guess everything good has to end at some point.

AMD is dominating the market right now in performance. Intel is great for gaming, but if you want to do anything extra such as video editing or streaming, AMD handles it much better

I bought Intel since AMD's failure to be competitive about 15 years ago. I got the Ryzen 3700x though and damn, I am happy with so many cores! With intel working on their 7nm, I am wondering if they will come back with a vengeance.

amd is the best one from my perspective ... cheaper than intel, and with better performance

I prefer AMD, I think intel is a click better than intelin in recent years.

Of course, I would prefer AMD over Intel because of the clock speed and processing power which is insane compared to Intel processors

Loved AMDs athlon xp processors, but have used intel exclusively since then.

AMD for the win! Intel is overpriced, and I've read there may be privacy concerns ...

Growing up I would always read about the Pentiums in PC's and I think that is why I see Intel as the default and AMD as the outsider, even though stuff like the Threadripper exists and puts Intel to shame. I miss those old days of Pentium upgrades, now it's all just cores and threads.
