A thread because I have some questions for international people.

Do you have internet cafes where you're from?
What kind of machines are in them?
Are they marketed for gaming or for work tasks?
What's the pricing like?
Do you enjoy visiting them?

Also please say where you're from when answering, since I'd love to know a bit about the "climate" of gaming/internet cafes around the world.

I'm personally from Serbia, and even in my small-ish town (40000 residents just about), we have 4 gaming cafes which are always full of people from ages 7 to 30 or so. It's really fun and makes me feel kind of accepted to go play in one of those, especially if the staff that run it are nice. The PCs are usually decent and geared towards running esports titles maxed more than towards AAA ones. The most played games by far in them are Fortnite, League Of Legends, and CS:GO. The pricing is usually about a dollar for 3 hours of play. For reference, minimum wage here is about a dollar an hour, so that's quite cheap compared to what you get.

We don't really have internet cafes tbh. Like the weather doesnt allow us to simply walk and/or when snowing the roads become a nightmare, so nah.

That sucks, the weather here does get pretty crappy but it's never too bad as to where you can't get out the house.

There used to be, but not so much anymore... the libraries here have computers/internet for free so they kinda function like internet cafes now.

Life is like a box of chocolates, it doesn't last as long for fat people.

What are the PCs like there? And are you allowed to use it for games or is it just like basic devices for everyday use?
