I had a oneplus phone for a few years quite a while ago. I quite liked it. Back on the iPhone train now though.

ever since getting onto the iOS, I have enjoyed it and it's been quite good to me and now my whole family mainly my wife's side is now all iPhones and we love the features it has especially the FaceTime app since we can groups vs getting on FB and using it. Or something crazy, it's apart of the iOS standard and it's awesome for us. So iOS all the way no matter what. However if absolutely having to be on andoird then Note series only, for working purposes.

I couldn't use an iphone again in my life, never had one but people send me theirs for repairs, some of them bought second hand and they don't have access to the account, and if it's still synced you cannot do anything unless the owner gives you all the annoying codes and checks apple require. Based on that and other restrictions apple impose I recommend you to get a brand new one and save the passwords on a secure place, or be sure the previous owner log out first hahah. Easier is to just use android. if you worry about security, that's mainly for people who doesn't know how to use internet and keeps falling into ads and scams I think, I never had any issues being careful
