My mother has an android and was hacked! I have been using an iphone for years and have never had any issues with my secuirty. Is apple superior than andriod in security?

No.. They are both vunerable to being hacked. Don't go on stupid sites on an android or download stupid shit.

Yes apple has way better security than samsung thats why you watch out on what you downloaded cuz theres no way it can randomly be hacked without a base

Iphones are fairly safe on down sides are that if your icloud account is hacked than what ever you backed up is hacked

Iphones are usually more safe but on android dont download like shit amount of porn and you will be fine. But both are secure.

Yes, iOS is mostly focused on security while Android is more on the open source side. So, downloading random stuff on Android will lead you to get hacked.

Ok so the thing between the two is IPhones can get hacked it is possible, its just that Android isa open sourced os while IOS isnt so its less likely to get those exploits and hacks found I mean it took forever to finally get my IPhone X hacked

Generally when you allow a user to actually control their device, it opens up opportunity for fuck-ups. If you only allow a lumberjack to use a chainsaw at half speed, it won't really run very well but it will probably be safer. On the otherhand, if you let him run it at full speed he'll be able to do much more work but if he fucks up, he fucks up hard.
