Is BTC mining worth it in 2019

i've been asking many people this and they all tell me no but does anyone with real experience care to give me their pov?

if you are home mining you're not going to be able to compete with the giant ass factories in china that have a million bots. So if you want really want to mine i would
- buy a expensive ass miner so you can make a little bit of profit but you also need to take into count how much power you;'re consuming
- buy used miners on craigslist and maybe make profit
- get a usb miner and mine blocks and try to get lucky and mine a block

In most cases it is not. You need to spend a ton of money to buy a rig and it ends up being more a work of luck lol
