Bitcoin is definitely not dead, even though it went down (which it does every year) it's very likely that it'll make a return.
It's new tech, the problem is we can't properly utilize it yet. Most people and consumers don't use crypto for online purchases, but when it becomes more popular (like eBay adding it) the price will rise.

Even if it is, the idea of crypto currency and blockchain isn't going anywhere. It is the future of banking. The winklewoss brothers said, that they will not sell bitcoin even if it reaches $150k each. So NO.

Well for me it is, in my opinion it was meant to be an anonymous way to pay but it turned into an investment

I use blockchain and the fee is no more than $1. It's cheap
