Is Black Mirror Good?

I'm very mixed on Black Mirror. I think a lot of episodes are very well done and fascinating to watch (Bandersnatch, Hated in the Nation, White Christmas) but sometimes it feels like certain episodes are shocking just for the sake of shock value instead of serving the story (National Anthem ofc as well as Shut Up and Dance).

Black Mirror is sooo freaking good. I always tell my friends they have to watch it, but DO NOT start with Season 1 Episode 1. The order you watch it in doesn't matter at all so pick a random one from S3 or S2.

Season 4 and 1 are probably my favourites, very provocative and really makes you think. Bandersnatch was also fun, i recommend you watch that too

Personally I think it's great.
It takes common issues for the current generation and amplifies them to get people to think of the affect technology can have on you, by taking modern tech and again amplifying the consequences.

I really love it except some episodes which aren't bad if you think about it in a critical way, they're just bad for me. I have lots of trust issues and if you watch episode 3 of season 1 those issues just get amplified to shit

Ehhhh... It's Fine Imo. I would give it a neutral 5/10.

not every episode is us good as the others, but its great. I would recommend it!

The first episode sets the tone for the *entire rest of the series*.

I've seen some episodes, not all, but people usually say it's good. I'd say that it's like a "modern" version of twilight zone like some people say, except that it isn't written as well. Instead of just weird things happening because weird things happen, it seems like it's setting a moral code and each episode is trying to teach people not to do thigns in the future and to scare people of things they're probably gonna end up being like anyway. It just seems kind of preachy but it's not terrible. The episodes are interesting and unexpected from time to time, but usually you can expect certain things to happen. I hope this helps.
