Is CS 1.6 dead game?

Do you think is Counter Strike 1.6 a dead game?

Im still playing it, and there is many full servers and players, i think its not dead (yet haha).

What do you think?

Depends on your definition of dead I suppose. Surely not as populated as it used to be a decade ago perhaps, but it's still a classic that lots of people will play for the nostalgia I suppose, so it'll never "die 100%" I'd say. Lotsa people still have "ancient" computers too. Especially people in poor countries. They can't run newer games at a decent framerate for them to be worth playing, so they stick to games like that. Unfortunately, it's the most hacker-infested game I've known, and these hackers are partly what's keeping it alive. :/

It's dead enough for me personally to not play it. :p

Nah, it has an average of 20 to 30K players with Steam and No-Steam, i don't think the game will die anytime soon.

I've been playing this game for 18 years

for me css is old game no one plays it if someone plays it than lol

i grew up playing 1.6 and the game had and probably still has a quite large number of players, but 80 percent of them are cheating which makes the game dead, at least to me, its unplayable

CS 1.6 has not died because it still has many servers and players who will stay with it.
