Is DarkRP dying

Nah all jokes aside, people who think dark RP is just a money grab have probably had bad experiences. It is true that most DarkRP servers do sell donation packages but you have to consider the fact that it costs money to run a server on top of paying for add-ons, web hosting, etc. Servers charge for cool stuff because it cost them money. I personally have donation ranks on my server but I don't use any of the money earned personally. It is strictly set aside for the server so should we ever want to commission some work or get new addons we have the money for it.

A lot of people do setup dark rp to get quick money but if a child is young enough to fall for that then they're not old enough to have steam in the first place.

Well i think Darkrp is not dying.. Well there are some servers with loosing users but i think the gamemode is still alive

yeah gmod kinda toxic these days and it's just gonna get worse

there are servers that are good in darkrp, but the more popular ones in my opinion are toxic as hell and so much is locked behind a paywall which is annoying as hell.

I dont think so a lot of people are still playing it considering gmod came out ages ago.

A lot of DarkRP servers have been trying to differentiate themselves from others pretty often despite the obvious donation walls in some servers, and as long as the gamemode keeps getting updated I don't see it dying soon.

There are good Server's, trust me, you just have to invest a little time and you will find you favorite server

Yeah ive been playing elitelupus server for awhile and they added so many bullshit that the exploits and item duping pretty much ruined the economy

I think you can compare it to some free to play, pay to win mobile games. The stretagy seems the same.
