Is Elden Ring that hard?

if you find it hard you have a massive skill issue

Yea its pretty hard if youve never played any of the dark souls games

Elden ring is hard but due to it being much more open world than Dark Souls you don't have to face a boss immediately if its to hard for you

i have never played a soul game so elden ring is pretty hard for me

I think in conparisson to other fromsoftware games its one of the easier ones but still ofc challenging

Well. Depends how good you are and how much experience you have

It’s not hard in a sense, it’s just different. It doesn’t play like other games so there is a learning curve in the movements and the attacks, and there isn’t much room for error. At first it’ll be tough to get the hang of it but over time you’ll understand the purpose of it. Depending on your build you might have an easier or tougher time early.

I know new players that go melee only have a tough time because you gotta be in bosses faces a lot which isn’t easy to do without getting hit or understanding the dodge or block mechanics, but again it’s all about learning to play a new style of gameplay. I’ve played a bunch of soulsborne games and still got my ass handed to me plenty of times in this one, but thats the fun of it, you learn and adapt and become more tactical in your approach which I enjoy about games these days.

Regardless of how hard is it, there is always a way to advance, you just gotta find what works for

I'd say it's hard if you treat it like any other "game". It requires patience, something like playing checkers vs chess. In that regard, it's really gratifying when you play it well though. You get rewarded for sticking with it... it's not for the faint of heart.
