Is Fortnite basically dead now?

not even close! fortnite queues in any gametype are quick as hell

No but the skill level has gotten so high and new players are more rare

The game was dead, i hte this game too and the 90 % of the communitty have 10 yaers old

I really wish it was dead. It was so depressing to see fortnite go from such a simple grassroots game to one full of monitisation, sweats and kids. Honestly it started dying from the day they added the battle pass. I get that they needed to do it to bring in a larger audience and to start earning money from it but it ruined so much of the game.

The popularity of streamers definitely didnt help either and just served to bring more wannabes to the game.

Before there was seasons it was the best. Open the game and there was one screen, straight into a game.

Friendly fire as well, used to be so funny to go on squads and shoot up your team.

Its not dead there are still a bunch of kids playing

I think that Corna brought a bunch of new users back. Plus the travis scott concert as well. So it's not all sweats. Just give it another shot.

I wouldn't say it's dead, but you can definitely tell it's a giant cash grab now, they're trying to suck as much money out of the game as they can (do you blame them, it's a bunch of 12 year olds)
