Is Gaming a Waste of Time?

Not really a waste of time when it's something you like doing, as long you like it it doesn't rlly matter.

It's a hobby like anything else.

Reading a book? Watching television? Gaming? Doesn't really matter.

Not really, i'm not sure if I can post links, in that case I will just stay safe and advise you to look up in youtube what Jordan Peterson have to say about gaming. + Yeah, it's a hobby, it really depends how much time you invest and what you expect to be the outcome.

I think games took up a massive slot in my life a couple years ago, but eventually you just lose interest and find interest in other things, regardless, there's always going to be some activity that's just a time sink, you do it, in order to pass time. It's not wasted if the point was to speed it up.

Of course not, it provides entertainment, just like movies. Sure it might not help you much in the real world, it's nice to forget the real world for a while, there's a lot of bullshit out there.

I asked myself that same question sometimes, however I just have told myself especially with me in adulthood that its more or less a stress reliever and a means of amplifying for influencing creativity. Not only in art but music and life as a whole.

For me it feels like a waste of time, i justify it when playing with irl freinds but it dosen't keep my attention like it used to

amen to that. but lets be honest. there is so much more to do in life.

It's not a waste if you use it the right way. I think when you let games decide your happiness level, then you're in danger.
