Is Gaming a Waste of Time?

Time is money. If you can play withoud lose money it's not. If you get stresssed playing you are making bad to your health. So, it depends.

Technically it's not a waste of time, because if you're happy doing it, what else can you really want? For me happiness is important, but if you want to extend your happiness, focusing on school and such is better to ensure happiness in the future.

Nope, it isn't. It's great to have fun with friends and have some talk while playing.

I think it totally depends on your age. If your a teen, play on. If you are in your 20's I would recommend you start thinking about your future. Work hard in your 20's so you can take it easy later on.

thb, because of games o am much smarter than i would be without games. For example, some games used words i never really understood but eventually i understood them. Its also a better hobby then doing drugs!

It's not wasting time if you enjoy it, If that's the idea behind that then why would you go outside? sure you would enjoy going outside but it would be a waste of time in that ideology.

Whenever I play video games it always seems to ease me. I don't know why, but it's just a way of relaxation for me.

I play games as a way to relax, I do see why it can be addicting sometimes though.

Gaming can be seen as a waste of time to people who don't do it for fun, just as someone who doesn't garden or draw may see those as wastes of time. Anything is a waste of time if you do it without enjoying it
