No it's not. It's just like any other entertainment. Movies, TV shows, etc.

Not really. If you enjoy it and it makes you happy, it is not a waste of time. Its like watching movies or tv shows.

Depends. If you don't enjoy gaming then yes. You need to see gaming as a hobby.

I used to game for 16 hours a day and played a lot of Dota. Ive come to the realization that gaming is Indeed a waste of time and the makers of money are the gaming company itself and we are just minting them money as gamers.

Gaming is good but if you spend just the right time. Dont overplay as me...

Gaming can be useful from time to time since it helps you enhance your reflexes and socialize, however it can lead to addiction.

Heard an old saying "Time you enjoy wasting isn't wasted time". I think that would apply here as well. Gaming is just a pass-time hobby for most but an addiction to some (which isn't entirely a bad thing to an extent).
