Is Gaming a Waste of Time?

Nope, if youre having fun its of course not a waste of time

I think itis a waste of time solely because we could be doing something that is more productive with our lives. Sure it is fun, but that fun can only last for so long. As we grow older, video games will grow on us and not seem so interesting anymore. After I quit gaming a couple months ago, I realized that I've become a better person and have started doing other productive things such as reading books or even honing my skills for a certain hobby.

I think there is certain ways to play video games that are good for the mind like ghost recon Wild lands if you plat hardcore military simulation you will walk away with a half ass idea how to properly breach a room if you have the right techers

No not at all if you are having fun its worth it BUT dont over play

It definetly not a waste of time. If you're not playing 24/7, of course. It is a good stress-killer. Besides, you can level-up your coding skills by making addons for games (or even your personal games)

Uh, I can totally agree that gaming is an awesome stress-killer, but I had the feeling that I literally abused it and played too much and therefore wasted my time. Sure I had fun, but I have gained nothing from gaming. Coding addons is whole different story imo, it's another activity which for sure makes a lot of fun and you develop a useful skill set.
And of course it all depends on the time you invest into gaming.

Yeah, sure, you're right. I believe, one should play games, but should not forget about time. Some games are really addictive, and it is difficult to stop playing. So it is important to find balance

Not at all, I have joined tons of communities and made plenty of friends through gaming. Its just like any hobby, if it consumes your life thats bad but it can also be really healthy.

There are a lot of meanings of the game.
Such as killing time
Such as providing happiness
Such as relaxation
For example, break through yourself in repeated attempts.
Such as improving yourself in the decryption of a customs
For example, while playing with friends, enhance your feelings, tacit understanding
