Is Garry's Mod getting old?

Honestly, despite being older than a lot of the people playing it, GMod has a certain timeless aspect to it. It allows a lot of breathing room in terms of customization, in addition to giving people the opportunity to get their feet wet with basic coding, if desired. And tbh, I don't know many games that give me the giggles when I unload a shotgun into someone and their body flies 6+ feet back in a bloody mess lol

I definitely don't think it is getting old necessarily, it has an active player base and they drive in a solid amount of people for the game it is but most definitely think within the next year or so they should consider making a Garry's Mod 2 or something like it.

well yes and no gmod is running on source and alot of workshop creators have to reduce bone counts on models and oh there is some small car makers quiting like Perryn becuase the gmod community is toxic sometimes

i mean the workshop is ok but there is alot of stuff that should stay away from gmod

But to me gmod is still amazing in 2021 so yeah i can say no its not going anywhere

I recently got gmod but a few weeks ago and find myself enjoying it as much as any other game. While it may be old the communities built around it allow you to play it even now and find redeeming qualities in it that allow you to have fun. So in essence while it may be old for a game it still retains a timeless aspect.

Even if the game is old, the community is on the game and make the game alive, same for Minecraft.
