Is Garys Mod still popular?

Yeah, still relatively popular, but i like to calling the friends is better than find a server, you gonna enjoy better

after playing about 14000 hours of the damn game i am still liking it and wish it had a graphics overhaul

Yes Gmod is still very popular it still pulls in players over 20k a day and many people still play it

game is really popular still to this day! Reason for that is the game has no objectives unlike games like mafia 2 so theres really no way to finish it thus not getting bored lol

Yes, it is because everyone wants to play some cool gamemodes like deathrun or have fun with friends in Sandbox

garrys mod will always have full sandbox, ttt and dark rp servers

A very large number of players still play GMOD. I think this is due to the fact that the game is quite versatile and allows users to see different and rather interesting content that other users generate.

Short answer yes, but if you're looking to create actual RP then I'm sad to say that the genre has mostly died off. If however you're looking to host gamemodes such as ttt or murder, make sure you include a unique touch to your server to keep people coming back.
