If something is killing it, then it is the community.

The trend is changing, but I think the League of Legends will be alive for at least 10 years.

Very slowly yes. But they'll keep innovating so it won't ever fully die. It's just no the same anymore for me and many other players

Eh I've always liked SMITE more then any of the others. But hey, if LoL dies that means SMITE might get bigger that'd be neato.

TL;DR: I don't like LoL, SMITE is life.

I think most mobas that have been around for a while always decline in player-base, and that is usually how it is for most games. A problem that has been killing most mobas are smurfing or account boosting which kills new players experiences. Higher Ranked players in mobas get bored in their ranks, so they create new accounts that are lower ranked. This makes it hard for new players to join and enjoy the game when they are getting mopped when they first start playing. So I don't think the game itself is dying, I think it's hard for new people to enjoy the game, which leads to a static player count.

of course its dying, the game after season 3 has become the most noob friendly ever. a team will win a game with the most gay aoe tank champions that requires 0 iq to play
