Is Minecraft Alpha better than the current version?

Well, no but the Alpha lets u get a flash of nostalgia but I think Mojang and Microsoft did a good job about it.

good chance you thought it was better cause of nostalgia and whatnot. Peeps not knowing all that a game has to offer adds a layer of mystery and childlike fun to it. Once you learn everything it becomes a bit more drab sadly.

Nah, i'd say somewhere around beta 1.7 or 1.8 is the prime of minecraft, basic enough that you have to innovate to build but still got enough stuff to keep you entertained

Alpha is really old, if you love old stuff then alpha is better for you, but current version are better.
