There might be moments where only a few members are online. Just look a it later and more people will be there.

In fact, the biggest part of forums only has so many people that want to leech (download, download and download without restriction 'till they get banned) and do not contribute to the community.
So, in my opinion, the forum can even stay in it's actual form, because it's a pretty HQ place ('till I joined).

We host contests at specific times like easter, summer, christmas etc.
A lot of people are participating and showing great activity. Some people even make 500 - 1,000 posts during this contest. Most likely because they're able to win something.
After the contest has ended, people are slowing down again.

So I don't understand those people. Most of the prizes are in the actual site. So if they win why would they go unactive aka wont use their prize

I think it will pick up before, as you got some (maybe not wanted but still) advertisement on other websites for leaking some databases of known websites.

It sure will bring a mass of leechers, but also will bring some people that will stay and contribute to the community (like me when I'll upload things in a near future).
