I'd hold off and buy a 1080ti used off craigslist if the funds are there. It's on the same performance level as the 2080. Not the 2080ti of course. That's a whopmping 30% faster for double the price! Horrid value. But nvidia owns a monopoly so we all are getting fucked in the meantime.

personally i would never recommend buying a card like the 2060, especially if you want ray tracing performance. the 2060 will likely be the least powerful ray tracing-enabled card ever made

I'm totally not sold on RTX. It's just super expensive compared to a similar card on the used market. I use premiere and photoshop. I also run a lot of esports games. A 1070ti has done the job for me. If willing to go used, you can get a much better value and a card. If you're looking specifically for the increased feature set of RTX, then go for it.

Yes I would say so. You can buy a 2070 or 2080 but either way your you may gain only a few extra frames. A 2060 is the best bang for your buck it costs about the same as a 1060 but performs like a 1080.
