It's not dead there's just not that many good artists coming out. Check out Greta Van Fleet, probably the best young rockers in a couple years.

No, it's just not as mainstream as it usually is right now. I feel like psychedelic rock is kinda having a growing wave coming with bands like king gizzard and the lizard wizard

Honestly, Rock has been going down hill the last few years from what it use to be, Im a big time rock/ metal head and most new stuff bands I once loved put out.. Is crap Disturbed lost connection when they started to add Dubsteap crap to it as did Korn. Most times when i'm driving I can hardly keep it on a rock station for too long cuase it's ether

1. Crap that I just can't get into/ feel or
2. WAY over playerd/ repeated on the radio (Medicate, Zombie, etc)
A Shadow On The wall, A Ghost In The Fog..

Rock will never die. There is always more popular music than rock but rock still survived through the ages. Rock doesn't need to be popular to be alive, but it's also still popular. There will always be people listening to it and creating new stuff, and we are living in a time where there are more guitar/bass/drum players than ever thanks to the internet. Long live rock!

It's much less popular than it was before, but in no way dead. I still love it, but most people don't really listen to it anymore.

Absolutely not. I love rock music.
I think it depends who raises the current generation and if they raise them on rock music.

Nothing with guitar ever dies. Gretta Van Fleet and Steel Panther are pretty much the ones that are out there. A ton of Indie Artist play Rock slash something. I think we live in a society where everything is going to fast and we are moving on from whatever is trending currently.
