I don't think rock music is dying or dead. Through decades, the genre of music shifts. The early 2000s had lots of Rock/Punk songs, and right now the shift is going towards Pop/Rap/RnB. Artists need to make money, so wouldn't they change their style to cater to the newer generation? Rock isn't dying or dead by any means!

I would say yeah it's dead. why? because compared to the 90s, it's like nobody still listens to rock.

Rock Music.

The music I listened to when I was growing up. The genre that helped me express myself and even motivated me to learn how to play
musical instruments. Slow Rock even heals the soul of people listening to it especially those with the an underlying story (like songs of The Script).

But now that Dance music aka EDM are being played everywhere most of the time, what can you say? Is rock music really dying? Well there are still concerts made by rock bands. I just wanna get some insights from people who are passionate with music like me if the rock scene is still thriving and if it is still ideal to go out and form a band...

There are some really good upcoming Artist, depends on what type of Rock genre you're into

It's much less popular than it was before, but in no way dead. I still love it, but most people don't really listen to it anymore.
