Is Skype still popular?

its fairly popular for Business men who do business over their laptop / pc. but discord took over the spot of "best PC communication program" for a while now

tbh, I don't see why should I use skype. Like yeah it's great for video chat and etc but you can't do more than that. I can do video chat using whats app, facebook or face time if I'd like to and also I can use discord. Besides video chat, discord is far more organized and you can build your own community with own rules and divide that into even small communities.

Skype is used more professionally for meetings, for example, but almost 100% of people who do anything else are on Discord or TeamSpeak.

Skype is dead. No doubt about it. literally everyone uses discord now.

well.. no, discord has replaced it and it is better in every way
also microsoft tries to force skype into your life which does nothing to make you wanna use it

is not my favorite messenger, but I use it a lot to get in contact to my affiliate manager from crakrevenue

I've used it in 2017 just for a quick call as they offered cheaper solution than national provider but no, not really.
