Is a 1080Ti Founder's edition any good for mining?

I've got estimates for 3USD - per day.

Is that good, or should I look at alt coins or differentalgos?

It can be undermined, but you will end up breaking your graphics card. Not worth it

The market is down at the moment, 3 usd is pretty good for being now. You can still mine now, hold your coins and sell when the market rises again,. that was what i should have done in your position Smile

Lately it is very difficult to mine with boards, the easiest is to use paid servers.

^ This. You better be off just playing games with that graphiccard other than using it for mining and risk losing money and the card. lol

It's always better to have 3USD than 0. It depends how much you would like to spend on digging. The more you spend, the more you dig, but you will pay back after a few years

Most paid servers are scams... I suggest that you stay with boards.

You will get 1.5-3$ per day with a GTX 1080TI.

One of the best miners is "Baikal Giant X10" and it gets 11$ per day, it costs 1700$.

Mining is not recommended
