Lol yes of course it is. If you arent paying for the product you are the product. Dont ever use a free VPN if you dont want your data to get sold

I like what hermensa said. Definitely often times if the service is free there's something else going on for that business model to be sustainable

just dont be cheap and pay for one, im pretty sure it costs less than what youd pay for gas in a day

I wouldn't trust that a free VPN isn't storing your data and selling it off to any third party that wants it. There's a lot of affordable options out there, with good reputations etc. But the bottom line imo is you're routing your traffic through some private company (the vpn), and they might be persuaded by some means to share your data. If you're just hiding your browsing from your isp it's probably fine. If you're trying to browse the web with more anonymity then use tor.

They can intercept your traffic very easily, so yes.

Keep in mind while using a vpn your traffic is being routed through them so they can snoop on it when they get what you are trying to request/send free VPN's aren't to be trusted nor is any vpn just make sure you are cautious
