Are there any better ones? I have been searching around and I don't know exactly how all of this works.

no you should really start looking into alt coins if you want to make real profit

Your question is voque.It all depends on what you want to do with the crypto.You want to fast pay for products or you want to make some profit ?

BTC really sucks as a currency. You should look up how much energy the network needs, it's crazy.

Nah, it sucks. The only reason it's famous is because it's anonymous

No. Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency and so it has a lot of quirks and issues, Ethereum is much better (faster confirms) and has a decent, not so volatile, price atm.

BTC is old now but I still use it to purchase a few things, Some banks are starting to accept BTC and other online currency's I think

Honestly, I don't think it is. It's a cool idea, but it's not really "mainstream"
If it were easier to use, it would be more popular, and then I could see it going somewhere.
