Is bytecoin worth it?

It all depends on the specification of the computer you are using to mine the coin. If your computer specification is very good, my suggestion you can mine monero. If you have an ASIC tool, you can mine bitcoin or litecoins.

Mining with your own compute isn't a good idea. The best way to make money doesn't exist.

IMHO you can make money with mining, but not with a computer, even a gaming computer.

I am mining with GPU's, but of course, you need the latest GPU's to get more profit for a longer time.

With my 12 RX580 I am making approx 700$/month (electricity deducted @ 0.13$/Kwh) at least. Latest months I am making approx 1000$.

Of course, I have invested 4700$, but the ROI has be already done. I didn't started with 12 GPU's, but with 3, and added every month one more.

After the first rig was complete, I bought 2 cards every month.

Now, I will start the 3rd rig, and I can pay 3 GPU's/month from the mining income.

It depends on how much money you have to invest, bitcoin is the biggest coin on world, maybe your job will be on alt coins
