Is counter strike dead?

CS:GO is far from dead. Still super active Matchmaking, and competitive scene.

If you're casual then play Matchmaking, or community servers. If you're looking for High Tier gameplay i suggest FaceIT.

Esea has declined for years now, If you want 10+ minute ques on premium servers you can purchase it but i highly do not recommend. Faceit is much more user friendly.

While CSGO has had a good start, eventually it's community became really toxic, it's one of the primary reasons I don't play anymore. I would not be surprised if the game was really dead

CSGO will never die, it is one of the leading competitive games, and has been around for many years, it is a cult game.

the best, try to do stuff, if you want help with anything, like potion brewing or something, you can search these things specifically on google
CSGO will always be my childhood, nothing compares to waking up and playing a sweaty match in the morning.
