Bitcoin will always be profitable in my opinion. Just get the right wallet to store your bitcoin. I recommend coinbase and blockchain.

Right now is an especially good time because of the recent market crash, everything is cheap now so its a good time to buy.

Do research and think long term, that's all I can say.

I'd say you should only invest in NEW currencies atm, as they'll give you the most profit the quickest.
If you want to invest in Doge, LTC, ETH, ETC, and BTC you'll find that they're mostly just "hypebeast" tokens, as I'd call them because the masses control them... IE: Everyone (even those who barely understand computers) will throw money into them and take out with the slightest sign of going up or down.... So they'll be extremely unpredictable (not that new ICO's are predictable.... lmao)
-- But you know what I mean. People who have no idea what they're doing will invest in the more popular ones. Those who have had more experience on the scene will either mine or buy new ICO tokens, or just newer cryptos.
Although you need to know what a scam would look like, and what kind of warning signs there are for a pump-and-dump from huge investors artificially raising the prices and jumping out when it's high, crippling the currency.
